The Institute gives you an opportunity to learn Russian language and through it to be introduced to Russian culture, history, art, traditions. The courses are designed according to the Russian State Educational Standards and Programs, their structure and objectives are based on Common European Framework for teaching and learning foreign languages, formulated by the European Council.

Courses are based on our best textbooks, audio and video materials and make use of the most effective, modern and traditional, teaching methods.

The training is conducted by qualified and experienced linguists from Russia and India.

Classes prove personalized attention (average 6-8 students per class).

Upon completion of the course participants will be issued a CERTIFICATE.

The Russian Language Courses are designed to suit groups and individuals with various language levels and needs.

 

Following programs are offered:

ELEMENTARY COURSE IN RUSSIAN( beginners):

Level I, Level II   - A1 (144 hours)

This course comprises basics of Russian and includes pronunciation,

simple intonation patterns, grammar, reading, vocabulary of 800-1200

words and basic conversation. On completion of course, participants will

be able to communicate in selected typical situations.

 

BASIC COURSE IN RUSSIAN:

Level III - A2 (180 ac hrs)

This course is for those who want to improve their skills in reading, speaking

and comprehension. Course provides more detailed study of Russian

grammar and special attention is devoted to the expansion of vocabulary.

 

SPECIALLY ORIENTED PROGRAMMES:

Crash Course of Russian Language for professionals, students and language enthusiasts

Pre-Departure Russian for Students going to Russian Universities

Individual Courses

The target of the courses is to develop the language skills needed for a specific reason, i.e. to study in Russia, to help establish business contacts with Russian specialists in certain industries, etc. The focus of the course is to teach students basic Russian including specific vocabulary from the required field.

Crash course (weekdays) for beginners

Requirements for admission

1. One passport size photograph

2. The Fee -• A1: INR5500 + book cost

3. • A2 onwards: INR4200 + book cost

4. Student discount of INR700 is applicable for those with a valid school or university ID card

 

Testing:

If you already have prior knowledge of Russian from another institution, you will be placed at the appropriate language level based on proficiency testing conducted at the beginning of the program.

Duration: Approximately one hour
