On March 18, a photo exhibition “FIFA World Cup Russia 2018” by a famous sports photographer and sports journalist Sheshadra Sukumar was inaugurated at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai.

The exposition included vivid and memorable episodes of the world football festival in Russia.

The main part of the program was the launch of a book of photos captured by Mr. S. Sukumar during the Football World Cup 2018. The event was graced by many officials: Mr. W.I. Devaram, President of Tamil Nadu Athletes Association, Mr. Chandra Sekhar Sakhamuri, IAS, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Gennadii Rogalev, Director of the RCSC in Chennai, Mr. Baskaran, Captain of the Indian team, which won gold medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Ms. Shiny Wilson,  Renowned Indian athlete, 4-time Olympian, Mr. Syed Sabir Pasha, Asst. coach of Chennaiyin FC and gold medalist in South Asian Games in 1995, Mr. Raman Vijayan, Indian football manager and former National team striker, Mr. Abilash Rathnakaran, Sports director of 'Jeppiaar' Institute and Master Lakshmanan, President of the Indo-Russian sports club. And they addressed the audience.

The Students of city colleges, young athletes and representatives of the sports community of Chennai came to see the photo exhibition.
