On June 9, Tamil Nadu started the second stage of Educational Fair-Exhibition of Russian universities“Russian Education-2018”. The first stage was held in May of this year. The event was organized together with Study Abroad Educational Consultants.
Representatives of Far Eastern Federal University, Kazan State Medical University and Volgograd State Medical University were the participants in the second stage of Russian education.
There was a press conference at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture on June 6. Correspondents of leading local publications attended the press meet. Mr. M. Gorbatov, Deputy Head of mission Rossotrudnichestvo in India and Mr. C. Ravichandran, Director of “Study Abroad” answered the questions of journalists and spoke about the purpose of the education fair.
Then on June 9 and 10 the exhibition was held in Chennai. Ms. Yulia Antonova, Vice Consul of Consulate General of Russia in South India, participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Visitors obtained full information about Russian universities, got acquainted with specializations and educational programs, conditions of accommodation and leisure activities. Employees of “Study Abroad” gave professional advice on the documentation requirements and the procedures of enrolling students from India.
From June 11 to 13, exhibition will be held in other South Indian cities like Trichy, Salem, Hyderabad, and then in New Delhi and Mumbai.
