The opening of the arts exhibition and the concert for International Women's Day was held at the Russian House in Chennai on March 13.
In honour of the holiday, the compatriots organized an exhibition where paintings and creative compositions made in different techniques and from different materials were presented. During the lockdown period, the compatriots of Chennai created unique creative works that allow Indian citizens to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of Russia.
"We want not only to preserve the Russian culture, but also to introduce our children to the Russian traditions and language," - said the compatriots at the festival.
Consul General in Chennai Oleg Avdeev and the director of the Russian House Gennady Rogalev wished all the ladies on the occasion of Women’s day.
The exhibition will run until March 26. We invite everyone to the Russian House in Chennai!
