Literary festival "Cheburashka Gathers Friends" was held at the RCSC

On November 18, a literary festival “Cheburashka Gathers Friends” took place at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. It was dedicated to the writer Eduard Uspensky. The event was organized by the club of the Russian language and culture, jointly with the school at the Consulate General of Russia in Chennai. It was participated by the teachers and students from the school at the Russian Consulate, their parents, students of the Russian language courses and members of the club.

Children and adults had an interesting interactive program, which began with a screening of the excerpt from the animated film "Crocodile Gena and his friends" based on the work by Eduard Uspensky, and continued with a theatrical performance titled "Blue wagon". Students of the Russian language courses, impressed by the works of writer Eduard Uspensky, they themselves prepared the scenery and costumes for the performance and appeared before the audience in the images of fairy-tale characters - Cheburashka, Crocodile Gena and Shapoklyak.

Pleasant surprises like games, interesting tasks and songs were arranged for the participants of the literary festival.

Everybody enjoyed the celebration and fairytale atmosphere.
