From November 9 to 11, a delegation from the leading Russian organization – Central Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute “NAMI” visited the city of Chennai. They were here to participate in the International Exhibition of automobile industry, held in Chennai Trade Centre Exhibition Pavilion.
On November 10, a seminar was held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture with the participation of the delegation and the potential partner-representatives of fifteen large companies from Mysore, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Trichy, Puducherry and others.
The event was organized together with Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IRCCI).
Mr. S. L. Kotov, Consulate General of the Russian Federation in South India, Mr. Lakshminarayanan, Chairman of IRCCI, Mr. R. Veeramani, President of IRCCI, Dr. Sivathanu Pillai, Scientist, and Mr. P. Thangappan, Secretary-General of IRCCI participated in the program.
Members of the delegation conducted a video presentation on the activities of the Central Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engines Institute "NAMI", during which they acquainted the audience with their work and commercial proposals.
“NAMI " today is a modern research, development and production centre that can accomplish any task in the field of research, design, construction, development and testing of motor vehicles. Currently the Institute is engaged in an ambitious "motorcade" project- development of a new luxury vehicle for the President of Russia.
